Default My R107's

Well today I thought I would do a full clean on the Pug 207 so I did and it looks great. Then I thought hey I will get the R107's out of storage to give then a little clean. I pulled the first one out and I was really shocked as it had marks all over the wheel something has got under the lacquer. Everyone has marks! we are gutted so I phoned the shop I brought them from. He said its the first time this has happened. I have sent pictures of the wheels to him so hopefully I get them fixed or new ones.

Grr

We purchased the wheels mid June 2010 and took them off beginning Sept 2010 fully cleaned and waxed the wheels then put in dry storage until today.

Sorry to hear this Jon; fingers crossed that the shop comes up with some kind of way forward.

That doesnt sound good John. They are virtually brand new and that shouldn't happen. I hope they can be sorted or the shop can swap for another set

I think this happens a lot with these style of wheels, hadn't yours corroded a bit John?

Yes, this seems to be an issue with the "Worx" wheels; even the "new" set the lacquer has crazed on some of the polished parts, I think that Brett actually stripped off all of the lacquer when he had his and re-polished the polished areas and kept them like that without the lacquer.

What do you all think?

Worx wheels are known to go like that. Many have had the smae problem. If I were you I'd get them fully painted in the colour of your choice...
