Default R56 - What should I like out for

Hi All

I'm looking to buy an R56 but was wondering if its worth buying a Works or a normal S and using after market tunning?

Any ideas or thoughts on the best way round?

Thanks

I would go for an S and then mod it... The JCW's are good and very quick, but are rather expensive... Earlier r56's can now be picked up quite cheaply too... A few choice mods and you are laughing... (Good to see you back on here Tony... )

R56 S then tune it , its not worth all the extra money going for a JCW when you can easily, and relatively cheaply get it more powerful then a jcw.

I from experience also agree with the standard S, and then a couple of choice mods

sounds like the S is the way forward. I drove a clubman S yesterday and loved it. Looks like I might have a mini soon :-)
