Default carbon fibre

hi i wanting to buy some carbon fibre vinyl to wrap my wing mirrors and tailgate, i have the carbon fibre bonnet scoop, but i cannot justify payin 200 plus for all the bits i want so i fancy havin a go and doing a vinyl wrap,

but i dont know how much to order and where from and also all the ones i have seen seem to be all different colours i want a perfect match to the bonnet scoop i have its the jcw scoop by the way

Hi Kieran, welcome to MCUK... I'm afraid that the vinyl wrap will never be the same as your scoop. Really depends on how much you want to spend and how similar you want it. Nik on here has used CF vinyl on his r56, so he may be the best person to speak to.

Hey dude I have a huge roll of it i brought but didnt bother using it in the end if ya live near by you could pick it up or i could bring it to the next show/ event.

Personally I'd just get the proper mirrors caps , if you have the scoop it will be a mismatch of carbon as the sheet stuff is like a dry weave and bonnet scoop is clear coated but will probably still look trick

i no but real cf stuff is very expensive and i wanted 2 to try vinyl first incase i didnt like then its not a lot of money wasted
