Default Front disc life

Now then- quick survey - what do you think average life should be of front discs on the mini? Appreciate it depends on how you drive but what sort of mileage are people getting?

Mines done 37k to the original pads and discs. Recently had a service at MINI and it wasn't even mentioned. I do drive like a tart though!

Was going to ask this question today but it looks like it's been raised already.

Coopers in Norwich have advised me I need new front discs and pads at a total of £350. I don't trust this dealer much.

Any one have any recommendations or should I stick with standard Mini pads and discs?

R53's maybe crap on fuel but they're better on their disc's!

Heard a story today that the new Jaguar 'XF's will eat a set of pads in 11k miles!!!
