Default iPod help

Hello all,

just wanted to see if anyone can help with this, it seems to be a general problem (when I look on the internet) with all owners.

I have the USB & AUX input under my centre consol. My 2nd Gen iPod nano is connected up no problem, I can listen to music and navigate the menus, however, I can't find my created playlists. All I get is 'Folder 00, Folder 01, Folder 02' and so on up to 10. I can't pick and choose what playlist I want, and these folders are not in any order (Artist, Album etc).

Does anyone know if there is a solution to my problem/have the same issue?

Any input would be great.

Thanks,

Andy

Hi Andy,

I have an official technical document on the MINI USB/Aux connector from BMW, and although it's little help to your problem it says that 4th gen iPods and above are fully supported

USBCompatibilityMatrix.pdf

This is the technical document for iPods, iPhones, and USB memory sticks. It helped me when I was trying to use mp3 files with a very high bit rate on my USB interface
