my name is David Timms but everyone calls me Timmsy thanks to playing in many sports teams during the years :P

I purchased a mini cooper s in astro black on july 20th 03 plate but only had 31,000 miles on the clock, panaramic sunfroof, heated full leather, DSC, xenons, 6 speed box, MFSW and have from the off been doing things to it already. So when gavin told me about you lot on my WIP thread at another but generic car forum i came over here with the intent to stay as i hear you are all essex boys and girls also

i live in saffron walden below cambridge and above bishops stortford i am right that the top edge of essex pretty much!

be cool to hang around and meet fellow mini people who love em as much as i do who live in the area

i have a background with mini's even though it has taken me till now to be able to insure and afford one, i started my working life at Sewell BMW (now elms stansted) on the stortford roundabout for 3 years as an apprentice and then qualified paint sprayer but i also had time in smart repairs (PDR, wheel refurbs, mini vinyl fitting and spot lamps)

at my time there i grew to love all bmws but alot of my time i wud be given all the aero kit fitting to do for mini owners and new cars that have been asked for the upgrade so i grew a soft spot for how sporty and mean u cud make them and the parts you could add to them to make them little sex beasts of a car (i also got an addiction to carbon because of fitting the carbon JCW interiors!)

so that is me and yes i cant wiat to join you al lat Trax in my not so special (YET) mini cooper s

oh i also do website design, but not coding and used to be a gfx moderator at x2c and cruise-cad so if any signiatures or any headers and buttons for the forum would be liked to be made i can do for you not a problem

oh and i also do photochopping if anyone needs any done of ideas they have for their cars
