Default newbie in Sheffield

Hi all, just bought an Indi blue Cooper with glass roof. Picking it up next week sometime and can't wait. It's an 03 plate with 40k on the clock - anything to watch out for? Had new brake hoses for MOT which I guess if fairly normal for a 7 year old car...

Hi and welcome to MCUK...

Check the steering column doesn't make a clicking sound when you turn the wheel, if it does it needs changing.

Check that the sunroof functions correctly as they do fail and are expensive to repair.

There used to be a small right angled device as part of the tool kit in the boot that was perfect for putting grease on the runners of the sunroof - it worked a treat in 2004 on my first MINI stoping a minor squeak.
