hi every1, just joined the MCUK, would like be kept updated with meets around essex as i want to get my cooper s out and about. cheers

Hi Aggy, welcome to MCUK. We always have meets, so please keep an eye on the forum. As previously mentioned we have a meet at Frankie and Benny's on 8th January. Please post some pics of your car...

Quick question.. the 15% pulley reduction... will i notice this if i was to have it done....

Also where's the best place for mods such as the pulley reduction?

Hi Aggy, welcome to MCUK!

The pulley was the second mod I did to my car, it's by far the best mod you can do for the money. I found my Mini to be quicker afterwards and it felt a lot more responsive.

I had my done at 1320MINI and paid around £300. That included (at the time) the parts (inc new belt), compression and leakdown test and before and after dyno run. Looks like 1320 are in the process of getting a new website but there are contact details there so it's worth asking how much they would charge.
