Default He's Back!!

Well credit to Elm's Stansted after dropping off my new baby yesterday evening to have the front bumper replaced,I got a call today to say it was all done and ready to collect,a day early, result! Have to say it's great to have 'Mervin' back and in good health now!
They loaned me a Mini First whilst they did the job and I have to say it wasn't bad and I quite enjoyed driving it,lacked a bit of power though!
Anyway pictures of 'Mervin' to follow after his weekend spruce up

cheer all Paolo

Well done Paul! Great news to hear you've got your MINI back.

Do you fancy dropping me a pm when you can with your thoughts and comments on what the 'TT' club did for members?

Excellent news, glad Mervin has had his dimples hidden away behind the numberplate.

Default Mervin!!

Oh he's like a little boy in the sweetie shop. Think he's suffering from Mini Mania. Looks like mine's gonna have to be called 'Winnie the Mini' then
Bought a Mini 50 badge today of Ebay, genuine part but typical of BMW, the holder is metal but the back of the badge is PLASTIC!!! Some little bod would soon snatch so we gonna find a way to display on the inside. Having great fun looking for bits and pieces to make Winnie stand out.
Nik, I'm still waiting for my graphics to come.
See you all soon

well in i am glad you have got it sorted, i actually liked how the numberplate was lower as it matched the swage line above the running lights, did they put it back there or move it back up again instead?

Talking He's back!

Elm's fitted the number plate back where it is supposed to be sited,I dont think you can put it anywhere else such as lower down because all the bumpers are marked out with the holes/indentations marked on them, they probably have to filled and re-sprayed to put the plate anywhere else. I'm just happy to have 'Mervin' back to his best He is gonna get a good clean and polish this weekend and his picture on the forum!

Cheers all Paolo
