Default We were spotted

Hey All

Well a quiet day in Witham has turned into a fun invite to a Mini forum, thanks to the referreral from a stranger who wrote the Web address on their Wrigleys Speamint Gum Wrapper.
So we decided to check it out.

Sounds like a close knit group of Mini Fans here so look forward to speaking to you all,
So what can i tell you? Mini R53 JCW owners (05) with only 20K on the clock. A right steal from the BMW Garage who sold it to us as a Cooper S the fools!
As Mini Virgins we made it to the 50th Celebrations and had a thoroughly wicked 3 days watching Paul Weller and seeing some very special Minis from all over the place.

Looking for a JCW Airbox at the mo so any recommendations always welcome and here's hoping we all keep it on the black stuff!!

V and Rich

Hi V&R,

What an ingenious way to get recommended about the site! That sounds like we need to order some more flyers though!

Our next meet is on Saturday 6th March - details are here.

Wotcha, and a very warm welcome!

We must get that member who left you a note a supply of our fliers! I think they need it!

Your car sounds great, would be nice to see some pictures sometime, or even better, join a meet.

Regarding the JCW airbow, there is a system called the Dave.f Hybrid which I and a few other members have and swear by, they've apparantely given better performance for a fraction of the cost. You can find this on Minitorque.com, just search on 'Dave.F Hybrid' I think there is only 1 or 2 left in the current batch.

Oh, btw, check out perks of being a member...as you're only in Witham, we've got a great deal with ELMS MINI in Cambridge and Stansted for our club members.

Hiya & welcome to the friendliest Mini Club in the UK
Hope you enjoy your time on here and that you get to come along to a club meet to meet up with everyone & look over each others Mini.... it's always a good laugh at the meets & held at places where the food & atmosphere is recommended.

Look forward to seeing pics of your JCW, sounds like you got a right bargain if they didn't realise it was a JCW!!!

As Chris (Mr Cooper) said, alot of people get the Dave.f hybrid airbox from www.Minitorque.com and this has given impressive results. Myself & a few other have got the ITG air filter from Vecchio Engineering and I've been impressed with this too. www.vecchio.co.uk

I'll look into the airbox as i love the sound it makes, pics to follow promise, for a 5 year old she pretty clean looking but like all 5 year olds all she wants to do is run around in circles hahahahaha

Mr Cooper makes a good point, our sponsorship deal from Elms is just unbeatable and even includes 3 free MOT's - find out more here - and that's just the benefits from only 1 of our sponsors! Club membership is only a tenner as well
