Hi all,

I'm a happy Mini driver since April 2006, it's a R50 Cooper Park Lane, Royal Grey / Silver. It has the JCW sound kit.

Soon I'll be changing my stock bumpers with R53 MCS bumpers. Can't wait to see the result. I'll consider one day having the JCW aerokit side skirts as well.

That's all folks.

Hello and welcome to MCUK! Lush looking MINI, should look great putting the MCS bumpers on it. I did the same with my Cooper and it completely transformed the look.

I did it with the help of my Fiancee. Neither of us are exactly proficient when it comes to car DIY but it was pretty simple and straight forward. Take a look on Mini2 at their fitting guide, that is what I used. There are a few hidden screws which require a little working out but once you know how many you're looking for it helps. Top tip for removing the front bumper, there is a screw in the arch lining, turn the wheels to an angle as it makes them more accessible, probably an obvious one but I didn't work that out straight away!
