Default 7 Hour Detailing Session By Hand!!!

Decided that it was time over the weekend to give my Mini her first proper clean and detail of the year..... I wash and wax her most weekends (as quite a few of you are already aware! lol) but this time I wanted to give her a thorough clean, clay, polish, wax & seal on the outside and a complete clean inside too.

This was to coincide with the London to Brighton run on Sunday as I had entered the Show n Shine competition..... don't know why I did in the end as they said it WASN'T going to be a concourse competition but ended up that it was!! No way I can get a normal jack or trollyjack under my car to get the wheels off seeing as it's so low!!!

Anyway, here's a selection of pics that I took.... sorry I didn't get any of how dirty she was before I started cleaning

Shame the sun wasn't shining to show the sparkle in the DS paintwork!

All washed and now some masking tape prep work:

Removed the tail lights so that I didn't get any wax residue stuck in the gaps between the lights & the bodywork:

Polished up the zaust tips:

The shiney reflective finish after 7 hours of cleaning by hand!!!

Cheers for all the comments guys

I was absolutely shattered by the time I had finished! My arms, hands and fingers just ached like you wouldn't believe!! I just had enough energy to lift my pint of Strongbow up! lol

I wish I had taken pics of it dirty as it honestly was dirty.... it had rained during the week and driving around town & to Lakeside meant that there was dirt all up the sides and rear
