Slip ring is the little part in the steering column which allows the wires for airbag, mfsw etc to keep in the correct plate whilst the wheel rotates.

Chances are your sis' problem is the wiring under the seats for the side bags. This can usually be fixed by popping an additional resistor in line and resetting the warning light.

sound like they would cost a bit to change labour wise if they are inside the steering column too?

Excellent !! WHeels look awesome As do the side repeaters - very nice job mate Wheel gap looks better than when on the 17s though.....

Notice any change in ride ?
