Default MINI's at Geneva

Hi everyone here are some pics I took on MINI/BMW stand whilst I was at Geneva, really liked the convertible shame they didn't spec up the JCW one though. The dark silver Cooper S had some lovely JCW goodies on it and a retrofit Alpine Hifi kit the front A pillar tweeters have got little discreet Alpine badges. I asked about it at my local dealers but its not available yet, it comes with amp and new A pillars cost for parts is £320+VAT

I test drove a 3 litre one when my sister was looking at buying one, I was really disappointed with the build quality and it didn't feel that quick. Hope you find it better than I did, the roof on new one is really cool and doesn't take up to much boot space think SLK will need to watch out. Think I might be heading to BMW showroom come June then

Thats a bit of a dissappointment - its the 3.0si im trying on sat... Was looking at getting the Z4M or a new Z4

I think that part of the problem in terms of it not feeling quick is the difference in power delivery- I had a go in a 130i a while back and althoughthe speedo showed it was quick it just didnt feel that quick...

Sorry to drag off topic

The grey mini in post #1 looks very cool

Nice pics there Ian, i'd love to get out to the Geneva show one day. Makes me want to get to the Convertible launch at Coopers even more now.

The BMW Z4 is US built...that's why it's not the typically BMW quality, but I often think it is overated anyway (personally).
