Default Modern MINI November Issue

Did anyone get a copy?

Are they getting thinner or is it just me?!!

Im confused though ... in relation to one of the letters, the writer has not answered the question in fact just told them the completely wrong way of doing it. I thought it was written by people who had an interest in MINI's.

I have purchased every issue of Modern MINI since issue 1! but this months has made me snap. I am not going to waste my money any more on this hit or miss mag. Some months its OK this month it was terrible, full of adverts and only one article (the park lane one) interested me. The bubbles burst for me. Sorry MM but I have stuck by you all the time buying it but not any more. I shall only buy the mag when its good.

It has the potential for so much more but just doesnt fulfil it.

Emily - are you still involved in any capacity? Do they listen to letters as I have a good mind to write them one

Yes I am still involved but only from a contributors perspective. The best thing you can do is channel your feedback via Ian Cushway (Editor), they will listen to you opinion. It's all very well people having a moan and a pop on forums but unless they know the readers thoughts they can do very little to improve on these points.

The magazine are making changes, this month they had someone for the first time dedicated to proof reading the content and checking the technical information.

They are keen to improve and they have taken some positive steps since Ian has taken over the editorial.

The magazine is 66 pages, it doesn't change from month to month! The reason it is so small is because this is a small publication, this is the only way they can survive and not go the way Go MINI did, if more people bought the magazine then they could expand. It's a catch 22, What you guys can do to help is tell them your thoughts!
