Default Paint touch up...

Anyone heard of this: stone chip repair kit

Never heard of them before today but it seems to good to be true ??? Whats the catch ?

Would be ideal as an alternative to a respray from stone chips... ??

Any thoughts on it ?

If its thought of as good would anyone be interested in a group buy ?

Cheers.

Yeah it appears to be a no go for the GB but there is still the dicsount code for 15% off if you want to give it a try...

Its hard to know if its any good or not without trying it - the guys giving comments on there are able to get panels resprayed and/or professional detailers to fix the chips for alot less than me for one but most people I would say... in which case its a little unfair to have bombarded the thread...

Its not as good as a respray but a touch up never will be... but £50 to sort a chip as many times as you need .vs a respray at circa £200 per panel is quite a difference...

If your still interested go for the 15% deal I recon - doubt it will make it to the 20 needed now...

Not sure if our resident detailers have come accross this stuff before and could shed any light on it in terms of job done / £ compared with a respray.... ????

Good point mate (& you're right, the thread did seem to get taken over somewhat!).
Maybe our detailing experts here can offer some thoughts...??

OMG - just read this thread! That got a bit out of hand didn't it! Thank god we don't have anything like that on this site. Looks like the Mods just let it get out of hand as well!

Blimey, that's a tad *cough-cough* but that's seemingly the norm over there. Puts me off from going there to be honest.
