Always liked the Checkmate myself, apart from the steering wheel and seats

That's a good price though IMO.

Very good price...makes you wonder if there is anything wrong with it!

Very nice though! See what you mean Nik about the steering wheel.

That's awesome , seats have hardly been sat on as they normally go a bit wrinkly , I say go for it , then let the modding begin

It might be that cheap because it's not the sort of car they normaly sell so they have priced it just to get shot
But I do really like the checkmate

That is an incredibly good price! Can't help to look and see what feeling you get from it. Good luck.

Looks pretty good to me, the Checkmate was still listed when I brought my Seven back in September 2006. At that time it was £2k more expensive then the standard Cooper S this was mainly due to it having the Chilli pack (£1,600.00) as standard plus some other extras special paint and interior.

Prices from the April 2006 Price list: -

Standard Cooper S £15,520.00 OTR

Chilli Pack £1.600.00

Cooper S Checkmate £17,660.00 OTR

It looks a very good price, one to keep the outside and inside standard I would think and concentrate on the power mods!
