Talking Countryman Launch

Anyone else going to a Countryman Launch event tonight?

I'm going to Sytner Chigwell

I missed my local one due to work! Was lucky enough to see one last month and really like it.
Are there any plans for a club day at a dealer on launch day?

Stephane was invited to Elms @ Cambridge, but I've had nothing from any dealer that knows about me.

Hate to say it, but I'm really not a fan of the Countryman. I think I need to see one in the metal to make a definitive judgement.

I saw and had a sit in a pre production one a few months back as part of a customer clinic at the Excel Centre. The actual model tonight was very nice; it was a Cooper with the 3 seats "bench" in the back as opposed to the 2 single seats in the one I had to score and comment about. With the few toys it had fitted it was over £20k even more worrying was a Black JCW in the showroom at a fiver over £28k

I think I'd rather spend £19k on a 57 plate Z4 3.0 iS Coupe with 18k miles on the clock that they had on the front LOL.

£28K? You'd have to hit yourself over the head several times for that to make sense!
