Default Grin Factor

Driving a Mini always puts a smile on your face...

But...

What are the best mods that you've had done that brought the biggest smile(s)???

For me it would have to be the Borla Exhaust... The sound is superb and now that it is coupled with a Janspeed Manifold the sound is immense...

People think I'm strange though as I always have a fixed grin on my face whenever I get out of the car...

I think mine would have to be the wheels (Dare X4), as they don't make them any more (they were made as a special order with fitment for MINI's, a group buy on MINI2 secured around 50 sets a few years back) they are as rare as rocking horse poo. It took me ages to get hold of a set & I really look after them. Was filling up with some go go juice the other week & a white van man asked if they were from an X5, they do look similar though .

Got to say my favourite mod is definitely my exhaust!! It's not the loudest but has a nice tone to it and makes a lot of people turn to see what is coming past them!!

PlayMINI exhaust, coupled to the wine of the S/C above 4500rpm, it is just lush!

once again mine had to be the playmini exhaust or the glitter flake roof or the black headlights all subtle but made hell of a difference

Emm, can't answer this one, i've done so many smile moments over the years. I guess fitting the turbo was a large smile moment.

The Playmini exhaust was the highlight of my Cooper. The grin factor on my MCS has to be the s/charger whine and the odd pop from the exhaust...

Plently more grin qualifying mods to come though hopefuly!

Oh oh oh I didn't know you got the ptsssssscchh in the new S - I used to love hearing that from A Peugeot 306 Turbo diesel I used to drive, especially effective in narrow lanes with high sides like you get in Cornwall.

Yep you do - it's quite pronounced even at stock. I'm considering the Forge blow-off (lolololol) adaptor to get some proper jap-tyte pttshhhh on the go
