I love Meguiars, used to use Auto Glym before then but found Meguiars a lot easier to use and also it gave better results in my opinion. I have got an article due in MM at the end of this month on detailing, I definately learnt a lot about car cleaning techniques and perhaps feel ashamed of my cleaning practices of before. A lot of the time I was probably doing more damage than good! It's all pretty straight forward stuff but little things you don't realise.

I use a combination of Autoglym and Meguairs products.

I use Autoglym Polish and Sealant as I find it very good at hiding the swirl marks I caused by using a preasure washer brush in the winter

Do you use the Auto Glym Super Resin Polish? I find that quite good for filling in light scratches and swirling.

Did my wheels the other week, I took them off to do them properly.

Used Autosmart Brite Wheels (acid free) with a 4" paintbrush (electrical tape round the metal handle bit to avoid scratching), found some Mer () wheel wax in the shed, so used that, then finished dressing the tyres with Chemical Guy's New Look Trim Gel.

Also cleaned the arches with Autosmart Orange Zest, then dressed with Chem Guy's Gel.

Oh yes..................quite a bit of elbow grease as well

Wow Zippy! That's definately the way to do it, I'm impressed as that's probably the cleanest set of wheels and arches I've ever seen!

I always have the good intentions of getting the wheels off to do a proper job but it's not happened yet!
