Default Roof Graphics Are Ruined!

Not happy..... noticed a month ago that the light grey portions of the union jack on my roof had some water marks on that I couldn't get off. The darker grey partions are fine so wasn't sure what was wrong.

I've spoken to Mini Pirate and apparently the BMW Mini graphics only have a 2 to 3 year life span as they're not the best materials. I didn't realise that they were actually metallic graphics and therefore can rust if not cared for properly.

Gonna cost me quite abit to get them removed (before they ruin my roof paintwork), the roof totally cleaned up and then new graphics applied

3 year life span = just out of warranty. It's the harsh reality of manufacturers making something last as long as the warranty they give. Doesn't do a lot for reputation though.

I was really surprised when I found this out to be honest. oh well welcome to the real world!

I never noticed it when I bought it but it must have been going like this for a while now.

Got it booked in at Mini Pirate for 2nd May to get the old one removed, cleaned up and the new one put on.... going for the same design as I really like it.
Their vinyls are guaranteed for 7 years so much better than BMW!

That's pretty crummy! You'd expect a lot more from MINI especially considering what they'd charge you to have that fitted through a dealership. Mini Pirate will sort you out!

Yeah I've only heard good things about the work that Phil does and he's been really helpful in the email correspondance that we've had this week.

It's all booked in and is gonna cost £240 to have the old stuff removed and the new design fitted. Gonna have a nice day out in Leicester next Saturday now lol
