Default 100k plus on the clock

Just reading the forums on the NAM site and there are a lot of high mile minis out there reaching in excess of 150k and hardly any running problems ,i know they are made in the same factory so i wont say why are US models seem more reliable ,or their roads and conditions are bettter out there any ideas why this could be ? ,i would love to own a mini without problems ,just hope my new one does not follow the path of the last two

I wouldn't dream of running a mini on 100k+ - My MINI One only had 60k on it when I traded it in, and it was breaking down rather regularly...!
