Default I need brakes!

Well the brake light has come on and Im in need of replacing the brakes all round.

So I now need some help! I cant see the point in replacing them with the normal OE brakes so need some pointers.

I did like the look of AP but they are just silly money when you need to replace the discs (~£400).

So guys and gals, what can you advise? I have 18's so BBK's should fit A-OK

Well if you think AP's are silly money then i'd say a BBK is out of the question so what about something like Lohens LB1 package?

tbh for the £££ AP BBK is the best on the market...
.
even tho the discs are 400 to replace how offten do you replace them as the quickest waring thing on the brakes are the pads. if its money them up rating the standard discs and pads is the way to go and with greenstuff pads trust me it stops quickely!

it's not the intial outlay I'm bothered about , it's the cost of the discs should you need to replace

Ive got GTT spiroslots all round which are pretty cheap and look nice too but if I were changing the brakes again I would go for the R56 JCW brake kit with painted calipers all round - although Im not sure what sort of money you are looking at when it comes to replacing those discs???

I'm deffo going for brembo's i'm just saving up at mo. As others have said though disc's are very durable an shouldn't need replacing very often.
