Default hesitant acceleration

Hi all,

our Mini Cooper is hesitating on acceleration and seems to be more noticeable in the cold weather. Changed oil and air filters last month and air filter was quite clogged up with c**p and car seemed to run better. Took it for a run this morning and on hard acceleration it felt as though it had a rev limiter fitted to operte at about 1500 rpm.

Any suggestions? Could it be a fuel filter (if there is one) or spark plugs?

Do you have a code reader? Might be worth checking for any error codes.

You may laugh, but it has caused issues for many. I hope it doesn't happen to you or anyone else.

Its under the dash on your side where the footwell is,the mynes tune is just a remap 4 your ECU,i would not worry 2 much you will not have 2 go down that route on your cooper,

Mine did this it was a small pipe had come off that told the injectors how much air pressure there was so it would inject the right amount of fuel

However this could be useless info cause I'm not sure if the cooper will have the same setup lol
