Default BREMBO GT Kit after ~500 rounds on the Nürburgring Nordschleife

Here the result with the "BREMBO GT Kit" after to 500 rounds on the Nürburgring Nordschleife (~11.000 km) with 4 sets of HAWK HT10 brake pads.

Not to complain about anything...

But good that I had replacement parts for this case ...

After two hours the friction rings and brake pads were changed in field and everything again as new..

Regards

Rainer

Crikey ! Is that from getting too hot then ? Would some cross drilled and/or slotted discs help at all as I see you've already got brake ducts fitted... must be generating some heat !!

Of course the breaks get hot on the Nürburgring but I think they don’t get too hot or overheated. I can drive a complete day without any fading or reduce brake power.

The Brembo discs are slotted and I think a live time of 500 rounds for the discs is o.k. and normal wear.

Drilled disc have more problems with cracking between the drilling.

In the comparison to the Mini my “T-Car” is in fact expensive on the Nordschleife because after 4 rounds the 65 liters' tank is empty.

Average consumption = 55 liters/100 km...

But hp and torque cost money...

Do not ask for wear and costs for GT-R tires and brakes...

By my calculations that a fraction over 5 miles per gallon for us Brits. A very expensive hobby, but no doubt a huge amount of fun
