Default Inspection 2?

Hi folks my car is due for an inspection 2 service and I'm not sure where to go to get it done
I have looked at 1320 and there reasonably priced but for a extra 40 quid I could still go to BMW I haven't checked any local specialists
My dilemma is where I have mods I don't know where would be the best place to go cause the sparks have just bin done and the belt on the pulley I also have a dave.f
Thanks in advance

I wouldn't bother with 1320, you'd spend a fortune getting there.

I'd check out D&S Motor Sport in Great Leighs. It's closer to you and I know for sure that Emily has had some bits and pieces done.

Dont go to Chelmsford or Colchester MINI

If your planning other mods when going to 1320 may be worth it but if not a local place should be able to do it as its basically just plugs, filters, aux belt and an oil change... just make sure that the right belt is used as you have a reduced size pulley - BMW would probably just chuck a standard size one on unless you were to provide them with the correct belt to fit

In fact, its probably just checking what other parts you have fitted that have been upgraded and make sure the garage you go to is able to fit the same / same spec parts otherwise you could have problems (plugs for example).

Bear in mind a set of plugs is ~£12 and a belt ~ £30 from 1320 and you know they will be the right ones....

Hopefully your Inspection 2 goes better than when mine did !! I had a missfire (bad plugs) broken air box and they snapped my strut brace.... yours must go better than that !! lol

Fair nuff dude - was just making the point that if changed make sure the correct ones are used as 'normal' garages may not realise that upgrades have been fitted while BMW will probably sulk
