That's what I have (Nik may still have these too). I went from runflats to these and they were a massive improvement. Stick like glue in the dry but in the wet I think the runflats were better grip wise. Whilst not perfect I'd have these over my runflats any day!

I had these on my car for a while and thought they were great - I thought they were also pretty good in the wet but that may have been because of the Hankooks I had before being truly terrible...

Definately a good tyre though, plus they should be coming in at under £100 a corner too I would have thought.... in 205/40/17 they are about £86 fitted IIRC - may be worth checking out black circles.com...

Maybe, but they are round and black with a hole in them where the wheel fits

I think Chris has used Black Circles before hand as well and were impressed with the prices they offered.

I had the T1-R's on my Image's dude and they grip like glue in the dry, couldn't fault them there but as Emily said they were pretty poor in the wet.

Also, I had to replace my front pair after 6 months as they were very worn but this was probably due to the camber and also because the fitting I had meant they were stretched.

Only my opinion ofcourse, but I personally wouldn't fit the R888's. They're really only suitable for dry summer conditions, I'm sure they can handle a bit of wet weather but you may have a few moments.

T1Rs or Yokohama Parada Spec 2's. The Paradas are inexpensive, brilliant in dry and not bad in the wet (personal experience).

4x Yokohama Parada Spec2 205/40/17 - 2054017 - Tyres on eBay (end time 27-Feb-11 10:18:36 GMT)
