Default Confused-Help!

Hi guys,

I'm in desperate need for some winter wheels and tyres and have my eye on some steelies on eBay.

According to the eBay seller the R53 & R56 wheel fitments are different, is correct? I'm sure they're the same...

Thanks

There are differences in the Wheel Bolt sizes of early and late R53's; lat R53's use 14mm Wheel bolts which are the same as those used on R56's.

Your best bet is use RealOEM.com Online BMW Parts Catalog and see what yours are and go from there.

Which tyre size for a 15" rim? 195/60/15? theres 195/50/15 on eBay but I'm concerned I'll get too much scrapage on speed bumps etc, currently running 215/40/17 and I get LOADS of scrapage

For a 5.5x15 rim MINI quote 175/65R15 84H, you'll need to check the tyre diameter and circumference Tyre Calculator - Alloy Wheels, Rochford Tyres - Specialist supplier of alloy wheels and tyres packages, Fast Delivery, Buy Online. to ensure that the tyre size you choose doesn't put your gearing/speedo too far out of calibration
