I was experiencing this during the hot spell we had in July, my fan was continually kicking in evening after just 5 min of driving. I did discover that my coolant levels were lower than they ought to be and since topping up the fan has kicked in far less often. It's worth a check, I would have assumed mine would have been done when in the garage for servicing but it obviously hadn't.
