Default Drophead Roof !

so does anyone know how to disconnect the sensor/switch what ever it is that stops you putting the convertable roof up or down whilst moving at more than 3 mph ?

if you do it at much more of a speed it's likely top rip itself off the car. it's not just the wind from the car moving it's also head wind you have to think about.

im not that stupid but being able to put the roof up or down in heavy traffic would be a great help some days

Im not sure if that's a coded option or not. I think it'd be difficult to do it via old skool methods of removing sensors as the speed sensors are used for loads of things such as auto locking, putting the wipers from full to intermittent when speed is 0 etc.

No idea on that one I'm afraid, you'll need to find a friendly BMW technician to get the answer to that one.
