Default Leaky Windows and Squeaky doors

Ok

I know you have all heard these things before but i have 9 days left of the years warranty and BMW aint listening:

1) my Passenger window gets wet on the inside:
BMW say its "just one of them things" to do with the felt seals touching eachother and the outter one being wet.

I asked them to change the seals and they wont saying its wont change anything.

2) The Passenger door well/pocket/place to put things is being a pain as it squeaks like a trodden on mouse when i'm driving.

how can i get my bmw dealer to fix the window and any advice on the squeak mouse issue???
thanks in advance for any advice
Rich

Who were you taking it too? May be worth trying another dealer, not mentioning you've already had another dealer look at it.

Get down there and rant at them Rich..........youve been a good and patient customer....all things considered eh!!.......
Get Geoff Lieland on the case too.........
Its a know issue too and the seals dont have to touch each other to cover yer window in all that wet crap!!!

If they wont get to Cooper Colchester and speak to them as they have always been very helpful especially when chelmsford wont help out!....

If you really need to kick ass, call MINI Customer services to see what they can do for you. You've raised the issues whilst the vehicle is still under warranty so even if it expires you should be able to get them sorted by making a fuss.

Sometimes it's better to go into the dealership, especially if it's a busy day with several customers in there.

MINIs contact details are:

General & Product Enquiries
customer.information@mini.co.uk
0800 0836 464

Customer Services Feedback
customer.service@mini.co.uk
0870 5050 122

Phoning would probably be the best course of action as time is tight.

Sounds like as there is a short while left of the warranty that they're trying to palm you off. You're still covered though so fight it.

With regard to the inside window it is unfortunately one of those things, However Cooper Colchester did do something to my window a long while ago which sorted it but only for a couple of months. They didn't replace anything but applied something to the window to stop the water gathering and leaving streaks.

Good luck anyhow.
