Default Virgin tinkering!!

Well folks after only a few days of being a member here I have succombed to the siren voices and already purchased a Dave.f Hybrid airbox.
This weekend will be my first attempt at tinkering under the bonnet with the beast.
I would just like to say any advice installing the box is greatly appreciated
Paul C has offered his assistance but judging by his current work accidents I am not sure I should put a spanner in his hand incase he stabs me in the face with it (only kidding Paul lol)
if my virgin fettling goes wrong then it's been nice knowing u all and the beast will never forgive me and no doubt have an affair with a micra or something just to teach me a lesson
either way I'm a little nervous so fingers crossed and I love you all!! Lol

if Im not back in 5 minutes...... Wait a bit longer
Rich

The airbox is a good place to start, might give you a bit of a challenge but should be nothing to stressfull.

Good luck and we look forward to seeing the results of the union between the MINI and Micra.

Well Today the Virgin was deflowered!
The Little Beast had her Dave.F Hybrid Airbox Fitted thanks to PAUL COE (what a nice bloke he is)
what a pain in the arse that is to fit eh? cutting holes, pushing pulling screwing unscrewing sticking and a little bit of blood sacrificed to the Beast and its in!!
and Wow wow wee she sounds great, she sucks air like its going out of fashion and Mr COE will vouch she sounds luverly!!

Best and First purchase so far, Its amazing what a small air filter in a lid can cause so many smiles.

Thanks once again to Paul i owe ya a beer mate and Shame on you BMW for not changing my oem Filter when you said you did!!!

so come on people dont be scared - get your tools out! (ahem!)

and not an accident to be had either....well, for today anyway!!

And what a nightmare i had getting the front wheel bolts undone on my car to check the front pads!!! Bloody tyre fitters and their air guns
outcome- new pads required!!!
