Question Sprint Booster

Hi,

Does anyone have any experiences or comments on the MOD known as sprint booster? It supposedly sharpens up throttle response lower down in the rev range thus enhancing acceleration etc?

Anyone know what any possible negatives or potential damage to the engine etc it may cause?

Thanks

Andy

Hi Andy,

I think Paul C had one of these on his car and really rated it... all it does is increase the value of the throttle position sensor, so no potential damage whatsoever! It's like having the Sport button switched 'on' on a new shape Mini.

I'm sure the others will be able to give you better real world feedback as I haven't got one!

Yeah I can vouch for them too it was like a rocket and cuts down loss of power between gear changes .

Doesn't sound a bad mod for £180 if it makes a big difference like that

i have one, its great when you first get it but when you get used to it you forget its there, i dont even know if it makes any difference anymore after a year but everyone says it makes it very jerky through acceleration and gear change but i jsut thought that was because i drive it hard lol
