Each to there own but I have had mine since new. 6 years and didn't go for xl. Modnmini looked after me for last 3 years and been far cheaper.

I went for it and if the dealer does the job properly it is cheap plus you get your BMW stamps

But during my Inspection 2 the fudged things up so caused me alot of grief which 1320mini ended up fixing...

Wish now I had just let 1320mini do my servicing and to be fair they pretty much will from now anyhow...

Dont you have a GP ? If you do then I would get dealer stamps as I would say they are more important on a GP than other mini but thats just me - even though independant garages can do the job just as well...

In which case I would say independant is the way to go Although if your getting on ok with main dealer then perhaps its better the just get the XL and keep your dealer stamps....

£245 at Modnmini... not sure about 1320...

That was the conclusion I came to at the time too which is why I have TLC XL - if my Inspection II hadnt gone wrong then it would have felt more of a bargain...

I think TLC XL is worth it especially if you supply your own oil and consumables for them to fit - they don't like it but you're within your rights to

BMW charge a fortune for oil especially.
