Default My Mini locked me in!

Hi All, the passenger door lock in my Maisy has stopped working for some reason. It remains locked all the time, if I want to unlock it I have to reach over & open the door. It won't unlock from the key fob or the switch inside the car! Does anyone have any ideas please?

Does it try to lock/unlock? I mean, is it making a noise of anykind? If not, I would hazard a guess at it being the servo.

The best remedy for these things is - get your boyfriend to fix it

I can hear a faint noise coming from the door when I try to unlock it, like it's trying to open. Toby's had a look, disconnected the battery but it's still the same.

Mmmm, I would suggest that the door card needs to come off for a look-see. I've never taken the card off before so wouldn't know. Could always give 1320 a buzz.

Have you tried the technicians trick of giving the door card a good whack with your hand, it fixed Sef's window winder problem before we went to Alsace!!
