Default Brake recommendations?

Hi guys,

I need to get my brakes sorted as the MOT man told me too

I thought I may as well go for something a bit more substantial than replacement pads so am open to ideas on full setups, but I dont want to spend ££££'s doing it, as cost effective as possible basically

Also, what are peoples thoughts on the EBC pads? Like for example the yellow stuff ones? I havent heard great things about the green and red ones but these yellow ones seem to have raised their heads recently which I know nothing about.

Thanks in advance

Dont really know about yellow ones to be honest but i know green pads on standard discs are good ( iv just bought some off john at modnmini ) Red stuff you will need upgraded discs as they will warp standard onse in no time. if you want a cheap one go for ebc green stuff pads, i know alot of people with them and heard no complaints. Close mate of mine has put ebc green pads and new discs on on the front of his mark 2 golf and said they were good.... after he took it around brands hatch lol

I had these on my 206 and was very impressed with them, but I got uprated grooved disks at the same time too.

Looking forward to seeing the pics once they are fitted along with the springs

I'll defiantly get some updated pics up. I've managed to get the pesky vinyl taken off my roof after much scrapping and picking, took three weekends!

All I have left to do now is get the M7 splitter which I plan to get from FOM Sport and colour code the arches, skirts and de-chrome the beltline and front grill.

I want to get a rear diffuser but the M7 one is too big and pokes out too much, does anyone know of any more subtle looking ones?
