That's good for a pre-facelift as the book was 163bhp. Mine (as standard) was just over 182bhp and that's a facelift model with a book value of 172bhp.

I subsequently had a PlayMINI cat-back exhaust system fitted which gave 196bhp.

Thanks Mr Cooper!

I'm considering getting a JCW exhaust added (roughly how much do you think it will cost?), I know there not the best compared with some you can get but at least I know what the out come is etc. The guy said I could make it into the 190's with one. He also showed me another Minis Rolling Road results. 265bhp, had Intercooler,17% pulley, intake and exhaust done.

Crazy!

Not a bad reading at all mate, must be a heathy engine so gives you plenty to work with for future performance mods. Have a search on Ebay as there always seems to be exhaust manifolds & catback systems for sale on there. Would defo make a difference though mate

I had mine dyno'd at AMD a few months ago and it was 204bhp with the JCW 210 upgrade which I was disappointed with at first but then got told that it was one of the highest (true) readings for a JCW upgrade and that they had never seen one over 200bhp with just that upgrade.
Since then I've had a Milltek manifold with hi-flow sports cat and also an ITG pro airfilter fitted so when AMD fit my coilovers I'm going to see if they can put it on the rollers again to see if it's improved things.

Nice results there matey!! Whats the big dip due to???

If your thinking of getting a brand new JCW exhaust then perhaps consider the JCM exhaust as it will be cheaper. Although if your getting a JCW zoorst 2nd hand then fair enough. Have you considered getting a new manifold and 1ball the standard zoorst ? may give you more of a gain???

Alternatively, perhaps a pulley with plugs and (although not essential straight away with a 15% pulley) a GRS intercooler and you should be over the 200 mark...

My JCW 210 with ITG filter and GP intercooler made 221.6bhp - Im convinced that alot of this was down to the uprated intercooler for me as that was the only difference between my car and Lex's car...

You'll be lucky if a JCW exhaust will give you any extra power to be honest with you 1-2 bhp realistically. If your chasing power, 15% pulley, new spark plugs, exhaust, manifold, bigger IC and remap you are looking at around 240 bhp.

This girl talk's wisly,

First step it's got to be to the pully, 15%, My pre face lift made 214hp with just the Pully and a bluefin, the exhaust system leve till last, if you do wont to do the exhaust start with the manifold first that's were you will get the power increase,
