From my knowledge there is only 1 PCD you can use which is 4 x 100, the 4 being 4 Wheel Bolts and the 100 being the distance between the bolt holes (An alloy wheel PCD of 4x100 meaning 4 bolt holes drilled through the centre of a 100mm circle).
The only thing that can can play with is the Offset or ET (Offset
Offset (or often referred to as ET) is the distance between the centre of the alloy wheel and the edge of the rim. This has to be pretty much the same on your new alloy wheels as your current ones as it will effect the way your car handles).
I'm running 18" x 7" Wheels with 215/35 R18 tyres, the wheels have an ET of 42, I do not have lock limiters fitted and have no issues with the wheels rubbing on the bodywork, the car is fitted with factory sports suspension.
The tyre size is important as in my case the original wheels were 15" fitted with 175/65 R15, the larger diameter with the lower profile tyre means that the overall rolling diameter of both wheel/tyre combinations are exactly the same; this ensures that your Speedo reads correctly.
