Default Snow foaming

Had a snow foam lance bought off ebay but it has just stopped working, dont know why otherwise I would fix it but its not foaming anymore...

So, I need a new one - thoughts on this one please: Car Valet Adjustable KARCHER Snow Foam/Lance Bottle 0.6 | eBay UK

I prefer it as its plastic so Im hoping it wont rust / sieze up which is kinda what Im assuming has happened to mine.

Thoughts ?

Check to see there isn't a split in the pipe as this will cause lack of pressure and less foam , that eBay one should be fine mate it looks like it does the job but I've never used these ones so can't be 100%

Will check for splits but hadnt spotted any so far - none of the nozzles seem to do anything when adjusted now which is annoying too, although if it was a split nozzle then that would kinda make sense as to why it isnt working.

Will check it out at the weekend

Couldnt see anything wrong with it at all... Have sent a message to the ebay seller to try to get a replacement / do an exchange or even a refurbish job on mine but no response still...

Looks like Im going to go for the above It just seems wrong cleaning the car without foaming it first now... odd really

Rather than spend the cash Im going to try to take mine apart and see what I can see... may make a hash of it but its not working at the moment anyhow

It may just need a clean out...

Found these which means Im going to have a go at giving it a clean out

Parts: Autobrite Foam Lance - Spare parts diagram. - Detailing World

Dismantle: Servicing a Autobrite H/D foam lance - A 20 step quick guide! - Detailing World

It looks like the gauge within the lance has become blocked and I will need to do steps 5 to 8 to clean out the gauze to fix it

Gauze was fine... pulled it apart, scraped the hell outa my hands, put it back together again with no change from when i took it apart and.... it didnt work... well to be more precise it now shoots foam out in a fine jet at high pressure so it is foaming but its useless...

I need to get a replacement... is the one above going to be good enough ??
