Default Polishing...

Paul; any chance you could post/send me links to some of the products we discussed last night mate ? Been on a bit of a detailing order today and have got a dodo juice wax sample kit on the way but may as well look into getting some of those polishing bits n bobs as we discussed...

Differences between these two (obviously the polisher is different but why is the Megs one more expensive ?)

DAS-6 Dual Action Polisher - Menzerna Kit

Meguiars G220 - Complete Menzerna Kit

Cheers

Possible stupid question alert !!

Is there any other way to apply wax other than by hand ? Can the car be coated using a machine at all ?

I always apply in straight lines by hand - not sure where I got that from but it may have been copying Andys method? - and its damned tiring especially if doing a few coats....

Ive got the loan of a DA polisher atm and had a crack with it on the KA (and the mondeo too) and used a 3M pad to apply wax - worked rather well too Was alot easier than doing it by hand !!

Few pics:

lol ^ need quite a bit more practice yet mate - havent dared try the mini yet, the mondeo was the experimental vehicle and it came up a treat although I only did a few panels as I ran out of time

Definately going to be doing more of this when the weather improves as its quite fun
