Default DNA Detailing - Summer Prep

All,

DNA Detailing are pleased to offer a Summer Prep service designed to enhance and protect your vehicles appearance. This service follows a simalar structure to the Winter Prep with slight changes designed to enhance the look of the vehicle.

Firstly we give the vehicle a good thorough wash, incuding all the shuts. The vehicle is then clayed and tar removed to rid the paint of any surface bonded contaiminates. When finished the car is rewashed to remove any chemicals.
Once this stage has been completed the paint is enhanced by applying a very light abrasive polish to remove light oxidisation and very minor defects. When the paint has been enhanced we apply a glaze and wax combination (colour of car dependant product) to seal and further enhance the finish. This wax will provide 3-6 months protection depending on useage and environment.

All of the wheels will be cleaned and treated to a heat resistant synthetic wax, the plastics protected with 303 Aerospace Protectant and all metals polished using a selection of polishes.

This service is a fantastic base for you to maintain with little effort.

The cost of this service for MiniClubUK members (MINI Owners) is £60 and takes between 4 - 6 hours to complete. Owners of other marques please contact Andy@dna-detailing.co.uk for pricing. Please note we have to account for fuel costs and these are in addition to the base price. All costs are quoted on an individual basis, 50p per mile when outside of a 20 mile radius of CM0.

Thanks,

Andy

Pending the arrival of the new car I will want a Summer prep in the coming month or so - just got to see what the condition of the paint is first... although I may need some stripes removed so that would need to be considered during the detail - not sure if that makes a difference ??

We completed two, yes two , full details today minus heavy correction on a 2007 s line A4 conv and a 2009 X5 all in one day , a couple pics were taken but these jobs tested our detailing skills, Andy did the light machine work and I tackled the interiors , both interiors were to say the least a bit scabby but I got through it and both me an Andy had some kind of mental breakdown at the end but it showed us what could be accomplished when we put our backs into it , also we have agreed to do a detail day which is in the pipe line so it gives you the member a chance to ask us the best way to do something your not sure or just learn a new trick , well I'm now dead tired so I will bid you goodnight and any questions just pm us and we will answer them ASAP

Hi Paul/Andy,

Some advice please got some bits from "Clean your Car.co.uk" as I wanted to have a place with snow foam.

Not having the facilities of power or a pressure washer I have purchased one of these to play with Super Spray - Just clip the hose and spray and some Super Snow Foam.

What concentration of Snow Foam to liquid should I use for some foam action?
