I personally just don't get it, why drive around with the roof down to the sound of a tractor - no matter how refined the engine, a petrol always sounds better.
It's the same as a diesel Cooper S, they'll be doing an M3 diesel next...

Don't forget that diesels were 1, 2 & 3 at Le Mans (Audi not Peugeot as worryingly the Peugeot's blew up!). Also diesels have plenty of torque!
