Diesel Cooper S will be released eventually and if an M3 diesel came out I'd have one lol, high performance diesels are becoming popular and with price of fuel its not surprising. If you look at certain french manufacturers there are some who's petrol engines sound rougher than their diesels. Personally I dont mind the diesel clatter I used to get worse from mine before they sorted the cold start clatter, plus its all about the torque for me but its down to personal choice. The convertible will have BMW engine, if you look at BMW 6 cylinder and VAG V6 diesels they don't sound like a tractor plus they go like stink 330d BMW or 3.0 v6 Audi anyone lol
